Stefan Bodle served with the British Army and the Joint Helicopter Support Squadron including operations around Whaley Bridge Dam in 2019, deployment to Mali and experience of the Covid pandemic.

Stefan Bodle joined the Army Air Corps as an aviation groundcrew specialist. He explains his reasons for wanting to serve with the Joint Helicopter Support Squadron. He describes his experience of operations around Whaley Bridge Dam in 2019 and the importance of an RAF Chinook helicopter. He describes the Chinook and reflects on his experience of working with the RAF, including deployment to Mali and experience of the Covid pandemic.
