Interview with Tony Barker, who served as ground crew on Phantom aircraft and Wessex, Puma and Chinook helicopters in the UK, including Northern Ireland, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and the Caribbean.

Tony Barker trained as a fitter at RAF Halton and worked on Wessex helicopters at RAF Benson and in Northern Ireland with 72 Squadron and with 84 Squadron in Cyprus. He worked on Phantom aircraft at RAF Leuchars, the Computer Flight at Abingdon and 240 Operational Conversion Unit at RAF Odiham. He remembers working with Puma and Chinook helicopters at Odiham, including deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and the Caribbean.
