She supported Operation Kipion in the United Arab Emirates, served at RAF Brize Norton with the Deployable Aeromedical Response Team, supported disaster relief in the Caribbean and Indonesia and worked with the French in Mali. She explains the need for pre-deployment environmental assessments and reflects on her experience of working with Chinook helicopters.
