Space Operators' badge

In 2021 the UK established Space Command, its mission is to protect the UK and her allies interests in, to and from space. It is a joint service command with personnel from all three services, the civil service and civilian contractors.

The Space Operator's badge is awarded to those with a recognised specialism in the space domain. The badge features a single angled wing, a blue laurel surrounding a delta, an orbit ellipse and a constellation of stars representative of Aries which relates to the 1st April, the day on which the RAF and Space Command were both formed.
