Interview with Ken Edmonds, who served as a navigator in Canberra and Valiant aircraft, including participation in nuclear weapons tests in Australia and the Pacific as part of Operation Grapple.

Ken Edmonds was a navigator in Canberra bomber aircraft of 82 Squadron before converting to the Vickers Valiant bomber aircraft. He remembers joining 1321 Flight in preparation for nuclear testing in the Pacific. He explains how 1321 Flight became 49 Squadron and describes deployments to Australia and Christmas Island in support of British nuclear weapon testing. He went on to fulfil a number of roles, including command of 7 Squadron.
