Interview with Bill Evans, who served as an RAF airframe fitter on Washington, Canberra and Valiant bomber aircraft. He participated in British nuclear weapons testing in Australia and the Pacific.

Bill Evans worked on Boeing Washington bombers as an airframe fitter at RAF Marham. He comments on experience of the Canberra bomber and training on Valiant bomber aircraft at RAF Gaydon. He was then posted to 1321 Flight, later 49 Squadron, at RAF Wittering. He describes his experience of nuclear weapons testing during Operations Buffalo and Grapple in Australia and the Pacific. He went on to serve with 543 Squadron.
