Recorded interview with Group Captain David Forsyth, 7 February 2023

David Forsyth served as an equipment officer, working in support of Victor air-to-air refuelling tanker aircraft, Jaguar and Tornado aircraft and Puma helicopters. He was station commander at RAF Quedgely.

David Forsyth trained as an equipment officer and worked initially with the Electronic Storage Group at RAF Marham. He describes his involvement with Victor air-to-air refuelling aircraft, his experience of the wider RAF supply system and relations with engineers. He worked with French suppliers in relation to the Puma helicopter and Jaguar aircraft. He commanded RAF Quedgely, worked on development of the Tornado aircraft and served with 30 Maintenance Unit.
