Interview with Gerry Evans, who served as an airframe fitter working on Britannia and Hercules transport aircraft, Jaguar strike aircraft and Victor air-to-air refuelling aircraft in the UK and Germany.

Gerry Evans trained as an airframe fitter at RAF Halton. He worked on Britannia transport aircraft at RAF Brize Norton, Hercules transport aircraft at RAF Colerne and RAF Lyneham, Jaguar aircraft at RAF Lossiemouth and RAF Coltishall and Victor air-to-air refuelling tanker aircraft at RAF Marham. He served at RAF Bruggen in Germany, with the Aircraft Production Squadron at RAF Abingdon and Ground Maintenance Appraisal Flight (Mechanical) at Swanton Morley.
