David Brook served as an RAF pilot in Hunter and Harrier aircraft in the UK and Germany. He commanded 1 Squadron with Harriers and was station commander at RAF Wittering.

David Brook outlines his father, Air Vice Marshal William Brook’s RAF career and explains his own decision to join the RAF. He flew Hawker Hunter aircraft with 263 Squadron, 1 Squadron and 14 Squadron in the UK and Germany, flew Harrier aircraft with 20 Squadron and commanded 1 Squadron with Harriers. He deployed to Belize, was station commander at RAF Wittering and served as Air Officer Scotland and Northern Ireland.
