Badge produced to record the Worldwide Reconnaissance Air Meet 1990, held at Bergstrom Air Force Base in Texas.
The badge was obtained by William Pixton, the Officer Commanding No. 41 Squadron, one of the units that participated in the Worldwide Reconnaissance Air Meet. This event was a multi-national competition for military aerial reconnaissance teams. Soon after the meet concluded, William Pixton and aircraft from No. 41 Squadron were deployed to Bahrain in response to the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.
