Humorous badge acquired by William Pixton during his service commanding the Sepecat Jaguar detachment in Bahrain during the Gulf War, 1990-1991.
12 Jaguars deployed to the Gulf under the command of William Pixton. During the combat phase of operations Jaguars flew 617 Sorties on 156 operations which comprised Surface Combat Air Patrol (SUCAP), Air Interdiction and reconnaissance operations.
