Collection comprised of pilot's flying log book, scrapbook of letters and photographs compiled by Sergeant Bayley's widow, portrait photograph of Sergeant Bayley and a copy of RAF RAG , RCAF Carberry.

Small collection of documents relating to Sergeant Robert Bayley who was killed on operations on the 15th October 1942 whilst flying with No. 12 Squadron. The scrapbook compiled by his widow has photographs of Sergeant Bayley, a small collection of letters to his wife, correspondence to Sgt Bayley's widow following his going missing in action. There are also later images of Sergeant Bayley's grave and of his widow laying flower at the RAF Wickenby memorial. Pilot's wings are catalogued as X008-9474.
