Kirsty Murphy was a flying instructor before flying as a pilot in Tornado GR4 aircraft, including operations over Iraq. She went on to fly with the Red Arrows display team.

Kirsty Murphy outlines her father’s RAF service as a navigator, including his time as a prisoner in Iraq during the 1991 Gulf War. She describes her own experience as an instructor and pilot in Tornado GR4 aircraft with 13 Squadron operating from RAF Marham, including participation in operations over Iraq. She explains how she came to join the Red Arrows and her experience of flying aerobatic displays with the team.
