Flying log book and photograph albums of 2Lt Albert Edgar Porter, 1918-1919

Pilot's flying log book and two photograph albums.

The logbook records flights with No. 36 Home Defence Squadron from 25 July to 5 October 1918. The photograph albums feature images taken in the UK around 1918, as well as during his service in Germany in 1919 with No. 22 Squadron. The first album includes photographs of personnel and aircraft, many of which are captioned, along with images of family, friends, and a holiday in Padstow. The second album contains sightseeing photographs from Germany, as well as views of Spich Aerodrome. Toward the end, there are images of named personnel from No. 22 Squadron in Germany, as well as photos of No. 22 Squadron aircraft.
