No. 80 Squadron RAF & No. 80 Squadron RAAF were reformed as part of a multi-national unit called Australia, Canada and United Kingdom Reprogramming Laboratory (ACURL). ACURL is a joint military data centre, designed to give each country’s Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightnings operational advantage during combat operations.
