Jess Ware explains how she joined the Red Arrows and describes her work with the team’s Hawk aircraft. She describes the experience of flying in and working with Hawks, including the implications of the aircraft’s age. She comments on relations between groundcrew and pilots and gives an account of the Red Arrows’ 2024 tour of Canada, to mark the team’s 60th anniversary and the Royal Canadian Air Force’s 100th anniversary.
