Interview with Lily Holford, who served as an avionics technician with the Red Arrows. She describes her work with Hawk aircraft and participation in the Red Arrows’ 60th anniversary season.
Lily Holford joined the RAF as an avionics technician and was posted initially to work with 6 Squadron, operating Typhoon aircraft from RAF Lossiemouth. She explains how she came to join the Red Arrows and comments on her experience of working with the team’s Hawk aircraft, with reference to the avionics fitted. She describes her experience of air displays, including the 2024 Canada tour and the Royal International Air Tattoo.
