Aircrew flying log book and bust-length portrait of Warrant Officer Edward Norris Pay.
Edward Pay was a wireless operator who spent much of his operational flying on maritime patrol flying in Consolidated Catalinas. Firstly with No. 202 Squadron operating in the Mediterranean where he witnessed the torpedoing of HMS Ark Royal in November 1941 and then with No. 205 Squadron in the Far East, January 1942- October 1943.
