Paul Cornhill trained as an apprentice avionics technician at RAF Cosford. He then worked on Nimrod maritime patrol aircraft at RAF St Mawgan and Tornado GR1 aircraft at RAF Marham.

Paul Cornhill trained as an apprentice avionics technician at RAF Cosford. He worked in support of Nimrod maritime patrol aircraft, including time with 42 Squadron, and Canberra target-towing aircraft at RAF St Mawgan. He went on to work with Tornado GR1 aircraft of 617 Squadron at RAF Marham before leaving the RAF. He reflects on various aspects of working with the Nimrod and Tornado and his experience of 617 Squadron.
