Tracy Footitt gives an account of her service with the RAF Police in Germany and the UK, and explains how she was discharged from the RAF due to her sexuality.

Tracy Footitt served with the RAF Police at RAF Laarbruch in Germany and at RAF Scampton in the UK. She remembers the hostile atmosphere, difficult working relationships, the mental health impact of the environment at Laarbruch and the need for secrecy regarding her sexuality. She was later discharged from the RAF due to her sexuality. She reflects on subsequent changes in the RAF and her involvement with the Etherton inquiry.
