Adelaide Starling studied music at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, supported by an RAF bursary. She remembers the start of her ambition to join the RAF as a musician and highlights the opportunities and variety of work available as a reservist. She comments on training at RAF Halton, the challenge of playing in a marching band, her experience of changing the guard at Buckingham Palace and her hopes for the future.
