Tim Willbond served as an RAF fighter controller in the UK and overseas in the Middle East, Far East, and the Falkland Islands. He was station commander at RAF Boulmer.
Tim Willbond joined the RAF as a fighter controller, trained at RAF Bawdsey and served in the Far East, with No1 Air Control Centre, with No3 Air Control Centre in Bahrain, in the Falkland Islands shortly after the 1982 war and in the UK at RAF Patrington, Saxa Vord, Buchan and Neatishead. He was station commander at RAF Boulmer and served at Strike Command headquarters during the 1991 Gulf War.
