Rear Cockpit Ladder for Phantom FGR2

Aircrew access ladder for Phantom rear cockpit. Painted dark green overall with two small wheels at the base. Nine rungs plus wide top tread plate with grab handle on the left hand side . Curved top section to fit over the aircraft's air intake; buffer plate at mid point to prevent rubbing against aircraft side. Well worn condition overall with dented rungs.
Originally in use with No.74 Squadron. Delivered with Phantom FGR.2 XV424 from RAF Wattisham November 1992, and fitted for display with the aircraft.
