De Havilland Vampire fighter aircraft are seen in flight, a pilot ejects from a Meteor fighter aircraft and is seen at sea in his single-seat dinghy. The narrator lists and explains the principles of survival in order of priority. The film shows the contents of the survival pack fitted to the Martin Baker Mk3 ejection seat and the pilot demonstrates the dinghy’s features before being rescued by a Whirlwind helicopter.
