RAF, Type G Oxygen Mask
The Type G Oxygen Mask was introduced during 1942 and remained the RAF’s standard mask for the rest of the war and into the immediate post-war period.
This example has been fitted with a microphone and wiring loom for use with an unwired flying helmet. It is currently is displayed on a figure depicting the appropriate flying clothing for an air gunner during 1944.
