A Good Start
RAF recruiting film on the range of opportunities offered by training as an apprentice. Three boys are followed as they train in different trades at RAF Halton and RAF Cosford.
A signal is received at RAF Brize Norton regarding an earthquake in Iran. Supplies are loaded into a Belfast transport aircraft and RAF personnel prepare for its departure. Three of the personnel seen are then shown as they decide to join the RAF as apprentices. Their interests and lack of civilian career prospects are illustrated and the value of RAF apprentice training at RAF Halton and RAF Cosford is emphasised.
