Exercise Fabius was a rehearsal for D-Day which took place in the south of England in early May 1944.
This report was written by No. 84 Group Rear Headquarters on 16 May 1944 for its unit commanders to read carefully and “ensure that the observations raised do not recur”. The observations relate to preparation of vehicles and the coordination of convoys to ensure forces arrived at the concentration area promptly before embarkation.
