Recruiting film for the Women’s Royal Air Force (WRAF), in which women join the WRAF and train to work in various different trades. The range of available opportunities is emphasised.
Women are seen at RAF Spitalgate on joining the Women’s Royal Air Force (WRAF). They are followed through initial training and during training for specific roles, including aircraft maintenance, air defence operator, driver, cook, physical training instructor and air traffic control assistant. They are seen working with Jet Provost training aircraft, driving for a senior officer and in air traffic control at RAF Syerston and at RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus.
