RAF Pageant, 1931

Various RAF aircraft are seen in the air and on the ground at the 1931 Royal Air Force Display at RAF Hendon. Demonstrations include parachuting, bombing, formation flypasts and aerobatics.

Footage taken at the 1931 Royal Air Force Display at RAF Hendon shows a parachuting demonstration from a formation of Vickers Virginia bomber aircraft, a flypast by a Blackburn Perth flying boat, formation aerobatics by Bristol Bulldog fighter aircraft and a bombing demonstration against targets on the airfield by a formation of Vickers Virginias. A Saro Cloud amphibian aircraft is seen as it passes over the airfield, lands and taxis.
