Manufacturer’s film on the Skynet 2 communications satellite. Satellite communications equipment is seen on land and fitted to the Royal Navy frigate HMS Grenville. A Skynet 2 satellite is tested and an RAF Short Belfast transport aircraft delivers a Skynet 2 satellite to the Kennedy Space Centre. Final preparations are made and the satellite is launched.
