Film shot at the time of the de Havilland Mosquito’s retirement from service. Mosquito TT.35s and a T.3 of No.3 Civilian Anti-Aircraft Co-operation Unit (CAACU) are seen at Exeter. Aircrew receive a briefing from the unit’s commander, Harry Ellis before boarding their aircraft, starting engines and taking off. Air-to-air footage shows the Mosquito TT35s and T3 flying in formation and the aircraft are seen making a flypast over Exeter airport.
