1928 RAF Pageant

Footage of the 1928 RAF Display, held at RAF Hendon, includes flypasts, aerobatics, a low-flying Avro 504, the destruction of a balloon and an attack on structures on the airfield.

Film of the 1928 RAF display at RAF Hendon shows crowds of spectators and royal cars arriving. A Beardmore Inflexible taxis and is seen overhead, a Boulton & Paul P33 Partridge is seen on the ground and a number of aircraft are seen taking off and overhead. Aircraft perform aerobatics, an Avro 504 passes very low over the airfield, a balloon catches fire and aircraft attack structures on the airfield.
