Multilingual leaflet dropped to Allied prisoners of war and internees in the Far East, 1945.
This leaflet which has three different languages printed on it, provides instructions for Japanese prisoners of war and internees as well as for Japanese soldiers to follow, as a result of Japan's surrender on 15 August 1945. Japan's surrender effectively brought the Second World War to an end and this day is known as V-J Day or Victory over Japan Day in the United Kingdom.
