Blank certificate recording the appreciation of the city of Moose Jaw for the holder's contribution to the British Commonwealth Air Training Scheme at 32 Service Flying Training School at RAF Moose Jaw, 1944
This certificate was presented by the city of Moose Jaw in Canada to members of No. 32 Service Flying Training School on 5 October 1944.
In November 1940, as part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan, the school moved to Moose Jaw. The plan agreed between Great Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, made it possible for aircrew to be trained overseas. In Canada, more than 200 sites were used to train more than 131,000 personnel. The certificate was issued a few weeks before the school officially disbanded on 17 October 1944.
