Hawker-Siddeley Hunter T7A

The T7A was a dual-control training version of the single-seat Hawker-Siddeley Hunter. The first prototype Hunter trainer flew in July 1955, and featured side-by-side seating for the student pilot and instructor.

Sidney Jefford serviced and maintained Rolls-Royce Merlin III engines that powered Hawker Hurricanes during the Second World War. Groundcrew often worked long hours in dangerous situations to keep the aircraft of the RAF in service.
