The Esher Efficiency Challenge Trophy was donated by Lord Esher to act as a reward to a Squadron of the Auxiliary Air Force. it was designed to act as a stimulus to the training of these valuable squadrons.

Hawker Hurricane Mark I

The Hawker Hurricane Mk I entered service in 1937 as the RAF's first eight-gun monoplane. During the Battle of Britain Hurricanes were more numerous than Spitfires and shot down over 60% of all German aircraft destroyed.

This plaque was presented to Mrs Willard Kitchen from British Colombia, Canada, to commemorate the purchase of Hurricane Mk IIB ‘Wilmar Vancouver’ which served with Nos. 32 and 615 Squadrons during the Second World War.
