Collection of papers relating to Warrant Officer Michael Joseph Moloney. Warrant Officer Moloney came from the Republic of Ireland. He voluntarily joined the RAF during the Second World War and remained in the RAF until 1963. Benny Goodman was born in London to a Jewish family and joined the RAF in 1939. He trained as a pilot and joined No. 617 (Dambusters) Squadron in 1944. His logbook contains the entry of his attack on the battleship Tirpitz on 29 October 1944.
