Collection of papers relating to Warrant Officer Michael Joseph Moloney. Warrant Officer Moloney came from the Republic of Ireland. He voluntarily joined the RAF during the Second World War and remained in the RAF until 1963. The collection includes two aircrew flying log books, a warrant certificate and a quantity of photographs.

Navigator's flying log book of Flight Lieutenant Frederick William Arthur Hendry, 29 June 1942-8 May 1945

Flight Lieutenant Hendry served as a navigator in the RAF, flying two tours of operations firstly with No. 467 Squadron and then No. 97 Squadron. After the war he remained in the RAF and was instrumental in setting up 'RAF News', the RAF's newspaper which is still published to this day.

Benny Goodman was born in London to a Jewish family and joined the RAF in 1939. He trained as a pilot and joined No. 617 (Dambusters) Squadron in 1944. His logbook contains the entry of his attack on the battleship Tirpitz on 29 October 1944.
