Programme for Thanksgiving Week held between 15-22 September 1945. The week of events was held to promote the purchase of savings stamps to help pay for the war effort and post-war reconstruction. It was hoped that £125 million would be raised during the week.

Recovered from its crash site near Kaas, this pump belonged to a Bristol Blenheim Mark IV R3802 that was shot down during RAF No. 82 Squadron’s raid of the Aalborg Airfield, Denmark, 13 August 1940.
