Warrant Officer Michael Joseph Moloney was awarded the 1939-1945 Star, Burma Star, Defence Medal, War Medal 1939-1945 and Long Service Medal for his RAF service. Maloney was a volunteer from the Irish Republic.

Collection of papers relating to Warrant Officer Michael Joseph Moloney. Warrant Officer Moloney came from the Republic of Ireland. He voluntarily joined the RAF during the Second World War and remained in the RAF until 1963. The collection includes two aircrew flying log books, a warrant certificate and a quantity of photographs.

Hawker-Siddeley Harrier GR.3

This Harrier was first stationed in West Germany during the Cold War to deter invasion by the Soviet Union. In 1982 it was serving with No. 4 Squadron in Gütersloh but was sent to the Falkland Islands to reinforce the British task force.
