Large Circular, bronze plaque bearing a figure of Victory with a trident in her right hand and extending a laurel wreath with her left above an entablature bearing JAMES THOMAS BYFORD McCUDDEN in relief letters. Standing beside her a lion. At base a lion fighting an eagle. Round the rim HE DIED FOR FREEDOM AND HONOVR with two dolphins and a spray of oak leaves.
