The Handley Page Hastings replaced the Avro York as the Royal Air Force’s standard long-range transport from 1948. Two squadrons of the new aircraft served alongside the Avro York throughout the Berlin Airlift, flying vital supplies into the city during the Soviet blockade.
Handley Page Victor K.2, Cockpit Section

This aircraft was built as a bomber in 1960, but was modified for the reconnaissance role in 1965, before being converted into a tanker in 1978. In this new role, it took part in both the Falklands Conflict and the Gulf War before being retired in 1993.
Handley Page Victor K2 Beer Mat

Handley Page Victors served as the RAF's refuelling tanker from 1965–1993. This beer mat commemorates the fleet's role in the Gulf War in 1991. Eight Victors from Nos. 55 and 57 Squadrons were deployed to Bahrain to support the coalition's air forces against Iraqi targets. Nearly 300 operational refuelling sorties were completed without incident, despite all the Victor airframes being over 30 years old.
Nimrod Sidewinder Sticker

During the Falklands Conflict, Nimrod maritime patrol aircraft were fitted with Sidewinder air-to-air missiles to discourage Argentine reconnaissance aircraft from spying on the UK Task Force.
