Legion d'Honneur, Order of the, Chevalier, of Flight Lieutenant Michael Weller

Awarded posthumously to Weller by the French Government in recognition of his service as a flying instructor at Meknes Air Base where he served from June 1954 on a NATO exchange posting with the French Air Force. He was killed in a mid-air collision with another French aircraft in February 1956.
