Corporal Roland Wright saw action on the North-West Frontier of India during the 1930s. As an air gunner he was awarded a Distinguished Flying Medal in 1932 following an operation to protect British troops at the garrison at Chitral (now in Pakistan).

In recognition of his huge contribution to the development of aviation, Geoffrey de Havilland was awarded the Royal Aero Club gold medal in 1963. From the early 1920s, the de Havilland company produced many successful airliners and training aircraft for airlines, flying schools and record breakers.

Collection of papers relating to Warrant Officer Michael Joseph Moloney. Warrant Officer Moloney came from the Republic of Ireland. He voluntarily joined the RAF during the Second World War and remained in the RAF until 1963. The collection includes two aircrew flying log books, a warrant certificate and a quantity of photographs.

Medal Bar of Air Marshal Sir Leonard Horatio Slatter. He was awarded the DSC and bar for nine combat victories and for his bombing attacks on Zeebrugge Mole His DFC was a 1919 New Year's Honour and therefore without citation.

Badge worn by Gladys Hilder, the widow of Sgt Charles Hilder, during a visit to the his grave in the Hanover War Cemetery, in the mid 1990s. Sgt Hilder was killed on an operation to bomb Berlin in March 1944, whilst flying in a Lancaster of No.115 Squadron.
