Boeing Chinook nose section

This Chinook has been modified to represent Bravo November, the only Chinook to survive the Falklands Conflict. After a 40 year career, Bravo November left RAF service in 2022 and is on display at the RAF Musuem, Midlands. During its four decade long career three of its pilots were awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.

Built 1973 by Westland Helicopters Ltd of Weston-Super Mare in Somerset as a Gazelle HT Mk3, this aircraft is one of 32 Gazelles delivered to the Royal Air Force. Others served with the Army Air Corps and Fleet Air Arm.
