On a square of white man-made fibre twill weave fabric positioned in a diamond shape, a silver device bearing the roundels of the RAF, RCAF, RAAF and RNZAF with, below, Fincastle 92 Kinloss in red. The edge lock-stitched in white.

Black leather, lace-up shoe with four pairs of eyelets. Pain vamp. Counter lined in pale buff leather while the sock is in canvas. With leather sole nailed to the uppers and blocked heel both reinforced with nails. Left foot.

Vertical rectangular wooden box fitted with "binocular" type eye piece at the top front, with an access door (for slides) at the top. Six adjustable knobs on either side rotate the slides and adjust focus. Complete with a box of original bomb damage transparencies.

On a patch of black melton with no visible extension round the edge, a laurel wreath, crowned with a King's crown surmounted by a lion, all in gold wire embroidery, the whole overlaid with a gilt metal eagle.
