Brown leather cap type helmet lined in chamois in the crown and in fur (very few fragments remaining) below the eye line including the peak which is turned up and retained by a press stud. Ear flaps, covering single, large round hole, pierced by nine holes arranged in a circle, retained by press studs: the flaps having cylindrical wind deflectors on their front, vertical edge. Short leather chin strap on right engages with leather covered buckle on left Condition - Poor internally and no longer representative.
