Long leather gauntlet, the cuff lined in leather and the hand part in curled sheep fleece. The whole of the inner face of leather, the whole of the outer face of a wiry fur or perhaps deer skin. The hand part in the form of a semmi-mitten for three fingers with separate index finger and thumb. The top of the cuff fitted with an adjustable tightening strap. Right.

Horizontal, rectangular box-bag with flap secured by two tabs engaging with two buckles on the front face of the bag. Each end fitted with a broad buckle which engages with the broad strap falling from the left ammunition carrier and the rear one engaging with the tab below the buckle on the centre rear of the waist belt. Internally, a transverse divider stitched against the rear surface of the bag. Blancoed green.

"Drab" coloured, broad cotton webbing belt. One end fitted with a brass chape, the other with a chape with hooks which passes through the separate brass frame buckle and doubles back on itself and locks, by the hooks, into slots woven on the inside of the belt. The free end fastens by passing through the buckle and a brass slider. At rear two wide brass buckles with long falling tabs are set on at an angle to engage with the braces. Blancoed green.
