Of German manufacture. On a vertical oval wreath of oak leaves, left and laurel leaves, right, joined by a bow at the base bearing the date 799 and by an oval plaque at the top bearing the monogram and titles of Sultan Mehmed V. Superimposed across the centre a star and crescent with wings at either side. Vertical attachment pin on reverse. Wreath plated pale gold, bow, plaque and wings plated silver.
