Khaki Barathea jacket with lapel extending fully to right shoulder and fastening with concealed composition (plastic) buttons within a fly; shoulder straps and horizontal, inset pockets with flaps. Plain sleeves, no cuffs. The fall part of the collar closes edge to edge with hooks and eyes and having a brown leather tab behind the opening. Each side of the opening decorated with a bronze RFC badge. Lined throughout in brown, twill weave cotton. Vent at centre rear. Burberry's label in back of neck. On each lower sleeve a gilt brass Royal Arms badge and on the left breast the RFC pilots badge.

Khaki, fine woollen fabric, high crowned folding cap with turned up front peak and band, folded and turned up, secured by hooks at sides and fastening with two very small metal RFC buttons at front. On front, left side a domed, bronze patinated RFC cap badge. Lined in sateened cotton twill. A tailor-made item not issued from stores.
